2023 ArtWalk Artist Application

This page is for artists to apply for the 2023 ArtWalk, which takes place on October 6th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and October 7th from noon to 4:00 pm.

The non-refundable application fee is $25. All artists are required to submit an application even if they are already paired with a business.

Join us for this year's Downtown Artwalk, a vibrant celebration of creativity and culture in Beautiful Downtown Lewiston, ID! We invite talented artists from all disciplines to showcase their work during this exciting event. Mark your calendars for October 6th, from 5-9pm, and October 7th, from 12-4pm, for a weekend filled with artistic exploration and community engagement.

Whether you are a painter, sculptor, photographer, mixed media artist, or work in any other artistic medium, we encourage you to participate in this fantastic opportunity to exhibit your creations to a diverse audience. The Downtown Artwalk is known for attracting art enthusiasts, collectors, locals, and visitors, providing a platform for artists to gain exposure and connect with potential buyers.

Dates: October 6th (5-9pm) and October 7th (12-4pm), 2023

Location: Beautiful Downtown Lewiston, ID

Application: To participate in the Downtown Artwalk, please complete the online application form available at https://bit.ly/BDL_Art. The deadline for applications is September 22, 2023, at 4:00 PM PST. Please ensure that your application, along with the requirements listed below, is submitted on time in order to be considered.

Artists’ applications are reviewed by a committee of local business owners and community members. You will be notified via email in your registration as to whether or not you’ve been selected to participate. Please be sure to mark director@beautifuldowntownlewiston.org as a safe email in order to receive communications for this event.

Application requirements:

• 4 images no larger than 300 dpi, 4 x 5 inches in JPEG, TIFF, or PDF format uploaded as attachments and emailed to events@beautifuldowntownlewiston.org.
• Include an image list of captions to include: Artist name, Title, Date, Media, Dimensions, Courtesy line or Photo credit (if applicable)
• Please attach a bio and/or CV. This may include exhibition history, teaching history, and/or a brief paragraph about yourself and your work.
• Brief artist statement. This would be a description of the work, process, concept, etc.
